5 out of 5 stars GameGuide   May 9, 2010
Woodreaux (USA)
The game I bought was to hard to play without some kind of "Instructions" of which it was not included. The game came out last year or two and I couldnot find a game guide any where especially from Nintendo. Lucky for me , I found one here and came at record time,Thanks. The book is pretty cool and it would have been no way in h*ll I could have made it thru the game without it!!!! It takes a little time to get use to the wording and instructions but it didn't take me long to get thru about 40% of the game. I also have a Prima guide for SuperMario Wii and have already finished it with Grandkids.Great Guide!!!!

4 out of 5 stars A title? Why, exactly?   February 15, 2010

The price was excellent, but there was a small snafu in the shipping (no the shipper's fault, so far as I can tell): the guide didn't arrive until almost a month later. When it did arrive, it was in perfect condition, so no real problems.

2 out of 5 stars Samus Wouldn't Be Proud   January 31, 2010
Michael Kerner (Brooklyn, New York U.S.A.)
There is no doubt about the Metroid Prime series, and the success it has had for Nintendo with the Gamecube and with the Wii. But since NIntendo chose not to make strategy guides anymore, it has lead some of their biggest games in tougher maps being showcased. That is honestly the truth with Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Nintendo Wii, and this strategy guide from Prima, doesn't deliver as well as it should. There aren't enough maps here to deliver well for gameplay, especially if you haven't yet played the original Metroid Prime or Metroid Prime 2: Echoes from the original Nintendo Gamecube. Considering those games were also redesigned for this version for the Wii, it doesn'y make it a strong enough help. If you still have the ones from the Nintendo Gamecube that Nintendo had made, than I truthfully recommed you use those to help you here in this game, as well as the one that Prima had made for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This strategy guide really isn't worth the money, and easily a crash and burn for Samus too.

5 out of 5 stars Really good   January 21, 2010
Master DC (St. George, UT USA)
The guide was a gift, along with the game. I now have ALL the power-ups, secrets, etc. for the games. This is a MUST-BUY for any Metroid Prime fan that wants to get the ending videos/get through the game without dying!

3 out of 5 stars Its a decent guide...   January 18, 2010

First off, I agree with most of the other reviewers: If you have the original guides for Metroid Prime 1, 2, & 3, then just use those. If you don't have the old guides, then this is a decent game guide to own. However, all of the information in this book is on the internet in some form or fashion. From text walkthroughs to YouTube video walkthroughs, its out there if you know where to look. I decided to get the book because my computer is in another room...I didn't want to travel from room to room whenever I got stuck on a part of the game. Also, the online text walkthroughs are okay, put they are dull to look at. So, I bought the book to be ready-at-hand and for the good game screen shots and the color graphics.

The only cons that I have, besides the occasional spelling/grammatical errors, are the lack of game art work and the condensed format which can be confusing if you aren't paying attention.
