No more battery swaps!!! September 5, 2010 Etienne (Memphis, TN) Tired of having to swap rechargeable batteries in and out of the Wiimotes, or worse yet the children tossing the batteries away(!), we purchased this. While it is true the batteries do not seem to last as long as AA, either NiMH or alkaline, the convenience is worth it. After a few weeks, the children learned to replace the Wiimote in the charger after use (mostly!). Works with the silicone armor. Only minor quibble is that sometimes the unit blinks red with a Wiimote on it, but just pick it up and replace it, and it goes to charge mode. All around a great item!
Great idea, Horrible product September 3, 2010 Zane Ross (Parker, CO) I have been through two sets of these Energizer battery sets. They work for about a week or so, but now the light on the charging unit just flashes red when I place the controllers on it.
I bought replacement battery packs from a local retailer. Worked great at first, but a month later, the same thing happened. Don't buy this product. Energizer obviously didn't do any long-term testing of the battery packs.
Not cheap but tough to beat August 19, 2010 Jason Stanfield (Lafayette, IN USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a very cool way to keep your Wii remotes both organized and charged. So far it's worked flawlessly as advertised, and I love it!
Great idea, poor implementation August 13, 2010 Dan M (modesto, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We went through 2 of these over the last couple months. Basically the battery packs fail after a couple months. They would just sit there flashing red, over and over again, and not work at all. 2 different chargers, same issue. Gonna try the Nyko next, or just get some enloops. I just want something that works.
Does not last long August 11, 2010 J. Chan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've owned this for less then 2 months and it's already broken. My remotes were idle for about 2 weeks because we went on vacation. We came home and wanted to play some Wii games, the remote wouldn't turn on, so we thought the batteries are dead (it was fully charged 2 weeks ago). So we put it on the station to charge. 5 minutes later, we got a flashing red light. We did some research on the web and tried to swap the batteries and make sure there are no metal touching the station (it's sitting on a wooden shelf with no metal of any kind around it). We're still having the flashing red light. What a piece of junk. It looks nice and all but... don't waste your money like I did...
